Love on the Rocks is located on the southern edge of sleepy Hopkins Village in Belize. The restaurant has now moved south to relocate and the quaint little hotel, Parrot Cove. Love on the Rocks opened their doors on December, 2011, 2011 to immediately draw in crowds. The name, Love on the Rocks, is derived from their unique cooking style. The fresh local ingredients are cooked on a 700 degree lava slabs at your table. The aroma is absolutely unbelievable. This restaurant offers a full menu with a very well stocked bar. “Amazing food with unique presentation!” - We traveled to Hopkins Bay on a week vacation and heard about Love on the Rocks through our hotel, tripadvisor, locals and guests at our hotel. We decides to take a bike ride down to that part of the village on our second to last night out. Deciding to have an earlier dinner, we ate there right as they opened at 5, missing any dinner rushes. Owned by the Beliziean know chef Rob and run by manager Mike, the restaurant was terrific! Mike had spent time working in the states before returning to Belize and working at Love on the Rocks. He made sure our experience was personal and unique. What's great about Love on the Rocks is that you cook the food yourself on the hot lava rocks, but the seasoning, presentation and execution of the meal was flawless. I couldn't rave more about it! I had the best tenderloin there! If you visit Hopkins Bay, you must visit Love on the Rocks! (Trip Advisor Review)
